Welcome to Rock-A-Bye Ranch
Rock-A-Bye Ranch is a premier equestrian facility located in the heart of Gardnerville, Nevada—-thoughtfully designed with the horse’s physical and mental well-being at its core. We believe exceptional horsemanship begins with exceptional care, and that horses thrive when they are given ample time to move, relax, and simply be horses.
Our facility offers a refined yet welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere where riders and boarders of all ages feel at home. Every detail of our program reflects our commitment to quality, transparency, and a true partnership between horse and rider.

Our Philosophy: Horse-First Care
Daily Turnout for Happy, Healthy Horses
Turnout is not an “extra” at Rock-A-Bye Ranch—it is a cornerstone of our care program. Horses are given daily grass turnout, allowing them to stretch, socialize, and enjoy fresh air and natural movement outside of their stalls. We firmly believe that ample time outdoors supports soundness, longevity, and a calmer, more willing partner under saddle.
We are proud to offer daily grass turnout for all our stalled horses, ensuring they are not confined unnecessarily and are able to maintain both physical health and mental balance.
Immaculate, Well-Maintained Facility
A clean, safe environment is essential for both horses and families. Our facility is meticulously maintained with constant manure removal throughout the property, not just in stalls. We actively manage winter mud through ongoing drainage improvements and proactive maintenance, keeping walkways, turnout areas, and common spaces safe, dry, and pleasant year-round.
